Mr Bean - The Animated Series - Vol. 1 DVD

Advantages: distracts the children
Disadvantages: not funny, humour very simple and mostly slapstick or toilet houmour.

I'm quite surprised to learn that some people atually like the animated series of Mr Bean, and find it just as entertaining, if not more appealing than the 'proper' Mr Bean. When I refer to proper Mr Bean I am of course talking about Rowna Atkinson's smash hit comedy sitcom in the 90's which followed a dry and whimsical character make a complete mess of very simple everyday activities like a trip to the swimming pool, parking his car, or visiting the cinema. Personally I love the original Mr Bean, although some detest his bumbling foolish nature, I find him entertaining on a unique scale. Maybe it's because a part of me feels sorry for him or that in some cercumstances it is really quite ingenuis how you can get make some of the simplest tasks a complete disaster. However the animated series proved to be a complete let down ...

Well Hell Kitty what can i say? I mean its one massive corporate brand, theyve even appeared in noodles! But i guess you just have to love her, or it, i know i certanly do, along with my girlfriend who finds the little kitty cat quit cute! So if this is a present for a girl, then i would strongly suggest buying it for her no matter what age! Its just most girls find hello kitty amazing, i havnet wrote a review about the dvd, i mean what can i say, its an animated cartoon about hello kitty and her friends, not the most exciting thing in the world, but well like i sed its hello kitty so you just have to like it, if you are goin to buy hello kitty then i would consider a few thing... Do i want to watch an animated show with hello kitty and her freinds/ ...

Fruits Basket DVD 1

Advantages: Fantastic characters, great and original story line.
Disadvantages: That the anime only covers so little of the manga story.

for housekeeping duties (the two Sohma's are terrible cooks and cleaners). Enter hot-headed Kyou, and Tohru finds out what makes the Sohma family so mysterious - the zodiac curse. Characters: Tohru is a sweet heart; it's very hard not to like her, unlike many lead females. Her two best friends Uo and Hana are both likable, and the Sohma's are all fantastic. There are so many different personalities flying around, clashing and complimenting, and each character has his/her own merits and flaws and they're all given such unique backgrounds that it's hard not to feel for them all. You really get drawn to them. Animation: The animation is good, not fantastic; I must admit to finding something off about the characters and they just simply do not do the stunning manga art justice.
