A team of professional robbers plan to do one last big bust on a city bank, Neil McCauley, (Robert De Niro), is the leader of the gang. Along with Chris (Val Kilmer), who has trouble keeping tabs on his cheating wife, Nate (John Voight) and a couple of other highly skilled robbers.
Detective Vincent Hanna (Al Pacino), is a tired, worn out copper who is having severe relationship problems with his wife and step daughter. He buries himself into his work and once he is assigned to hunt down McCauley and his gang, finds some kind of inspiration from him.
The movie itself is clever, a cat and mouse chase between De Niro and Pacino at the airport. Definitely one that has to be watched.
