Anna Madden (Charlotte Burke) is an 11 year old girl more comfortable drawing alone than playing with others. Reclusive, angry, a difficult rebellious, but seemingly normal child. Her distant father (Ben Cross) and Kate (Glenne Headly), her mother, don't seem able to relate to their daughter. Dr. Sarah Nicols (Gemma Jones) does not understand the illness that begins to take over Anna's life with seemingly simple fevers and a sore gritty throat.
Anna doesn't admit to that second fainting fit during a simple game of hide and seek. She seems to the impartial viewer to be avoiding the possibility that these symptoms might be signs of something large and potentially dangerous to her health. She just wants to escape into the world she draws. There she is powerful and things are simpler...

Advantages: Artisticly presented, indirect psychological horror Disadvantages: Too muted and suggestive, slow and sonorous.
...where alas, poor mummy will pay the ultimate penalty. There is a ghost child who wants a real mummy and this one is going to fit the bill. On this occasion there is not only the danger of society rearranging one’s life but also an estranged phantom.
Nowhere is safe. The water tortured infant gets to school, sploshing water and sending her living counterpart into deep illness. The bathroom floods, the roof water tank is the scene of some very strange images and sounds as poor mother investigates. And that red bag keeps popping up everywhere.
The ghost effects are for the most part spine chillingly muted and insidious, a blurred figure in the hall, a small hand that shouldn’t be there, an echoing noise faintly doom laden.
Watch out for a doppelganger effect and a major heart arresting moment when poor mum decides what’s best...

...i like how tom hank was palying role in the pict as he was having aids and how is mothershealth was how was his cihild life and how he acted in the army and he saved his boss in the war of vietenam how he got in loved with a girl then he got a child i like how acted and he was very brave and when no one was letting he sit the girl let him eventually they got married and got a child the kids at school were getting behind him and messing with him
this movies is good for kids or moms who has aids and see how the life is of that guy and mom when there is no support from anybody and...
