Amanda, (Monica Potter) is single and lives in New York, she believes she is single because she is a bad judge of male character, so she throws herself into her work as an art restorer. After a bad experience with her last boyfriend she moves in with a set of super models. Whilst there she meets Jim Winston, (Freddie Prinze Jr) and falls in love with him. She believes he is a successful fashion executive, until one night she spots him committing a murder. Again she believes that her poor judge of character has let her down. So her model flat mates help her to discover the truth about her now love. Along the way we discover all is not what it seems with Jim as we discover more and more.
Unfortunately I can't say anymore or else I will spoil the plot. What I can say is, that along the way there are some funny scenes involving a dog and innuendo, as well as getting an in sight in to the superficial world of the modeling industry.

Although the roles in this film are not as demanding as some, the cast play there parts adequately. Freddie Prinze Jr, never seems to move on from his teenage roles..

The Message & Christian View Point
So what is this film telling us? The only message I could really find in the film, is that love will win out. But other than fact there was no real message to the film and in doing so was just an enjoyable comedy.
Conclusion & Rating
Okay, so it is not a classic and never pretends to be. What it is, is an enjoyable light hearted film with good intentions and plenty of humour. Would I watch it again? Yes, as it is funny, but it is not one I would strongly recommend to anyone for its storyline or cinematography. The sound track was not very memorable and the bonus features on the DVD seemed only to pad it out to try and make it worth the money.
What I did enjoy, was an admirable attempt to make a comedy film which didn't rely on over the top gross out jokes, and laughs at the consequences of others.
I would give this a rating of 5 out of 10 as although a little bit weak, it was still enjoyable to watch.
