stupidity, which of course makes for a lot of dopey fun. Harley Davidson (Mickey Rourke) returns to his roots, the LA of 1996 (the film was set in the near future, as it was made in 1991). Burbank has become an airport, a new drug called Crystal Dream is all the rage and Harley's favourite bar is being torn down. To save it, he and the Marlboro Man (Don Johnson, at his most engaging) concoct an armed robbery that goes awry. Instead of cash, they end up with a shipment of Crystal Dream. Hunted by a drug dealer's goons, the two bark, fight, drink and squint at each other as they try to get themselves out of their mess. This isButch Cassidy and the Sundance Kidfor the monster-truck crowd, with plenty of breasts, choppers, broken pool cues and empty bottles. It's impossible to blame this film for being so emphatically trashy; its creators would consider that a compliment, anyway. --Keith Simanton, Amazon.com

Advantages: Location and pose factor. Disadvantages: Inflated prices.
This store has since closed down and the items it stocked can now be purchased from Warrs HarleyDavidson as they owned and ran this venture. They have two branches, one at Mottingham Road south of the river thames and the other branch at the far end of the Kings Road at their motorcycle dealership.
This was a store in the heart of Chelseas KIngs Road and was more a boutique than a motorbike clothing shop.
It had both clothes, shoes/boots and accessories in stock.
It fitted in with the clientele of Chelsea as they liked the Harley image without having to own the bike. I am a life member of HOG (Harley Owners Group) and I shopped there occasionally but prefered the atmosphere of the dealership further down the Kings Road.
The prices in the boutique are slightly more inflated than the regular dealership prices would be. ...
Advantages: Low cost upgrade from 883 to 1200cc's Disadvantages: none
I purchased a used 1996 H-D 883cc Sporster for $6,000.00 (USD) I then had the engine upgraded to 1200cc's and added a few other relatively inexpensive modifications (hi-flow air breather) for a total cost of less than $900.00 (USD), I then added a larger gas tank (previous 2.2 gal to 3.4 gal), and put metal HarleyDavidson lettering on tank (no decals). For all relative purchases I now have a 1996 frame on a brand new engine. A used 1996 1200cc Sporster would have cost at least $9,000.00--so I saved alot of money and got a much faster and better running custom engine, and was able to add a few more custom modifications with all of the money I saved. My bike is much faster and sounds better than any new or used stock factory direct 1200cc Sporster. The bike looks great via the no decals work on the tank. If you have a new tank put ...
Advantages: Extremely funny will always make you laugh Disadvantages: Sexist, Racist, Crude etc
I have seen Jim Davidson on stage three times in the last 12 months plus I am a woman. I know he gets a lot of bad press but the way he expresses his opinions is very funny. The DVD has some special extras that I can assure you are just as good as the show.
Background
Jim Davidson was born in Blackheath and from a young age he liked to be the centre of attention. Was going to follow in the foot steps of his brother and join the Navy but a girl told him not to so he didn't.
He has been married, four times; his first marriage was when he was 18 years old. He admitted himself to a clinic for his alcohol addiction in 1994.
Once he got his life back together he proved himself as a family entertainer on Big Break and The Generation Game. I still think he is best on stage doing what he does best, taking the p ...
An action flick with death-defying stunts and unparalleled product placement. In an alternate present, times are really tough. Expensive consumer items cost jaw-droppingly high amounts; youths binge on drugs that bypass the blood stream and go straight to the cerebral cortex. Hardheaded wanderers Harley Davidson and Marlboro prowl this hell, muttering quasi-existentialist philosophy and looking for a little tush. Then they learn the bank is about to foreclose on their favourite haunt. For the biker and the butt-man, they have no choice left but to pack heat and go rob that greedy S & L.
