I bought this film for only £5 which was relaly good valuable for money asI found this film hilarious I'm not one to watch DVDS over and over again but I must admit I've watched this DVD about 12 times. I can really relate to Adam Sander's character, Happy because I also have a very short temper however I don't go round attacking people with golf clubs. This DVD is about a stereotypical guy named Happy who really cares about his Grandma as she's looked after him for as far as he can remember. As soon as happy finds out his grandmas house is going to be taken off her who was made from his grandads own hands, he plans to make some money to help his grandma. After finding out his talent for golfing, he goes to his local golf club and gambles with other people to see who can get it the furthest.
This film is just amazing, it's so comical and it bound to make anyone laugh. Adam Sandler really does play the role of happy extremely good especially when his girlfriend leaves him at the start of the film and he ends up sleeping with an old woman.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD features. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.

Advantages: Hilarious comedy starring sandler, before he became super popular. Disadvantages: You won't like it if you don't like his other movies styles.

Review of Happy Gilmore (DVD)
Advantages: Fun for all ages, a great bit of light-hearted relief. Disadvantages: No major ones at all, but why couldn't they make the film longer, or at least a sequel
