Happy was born to play hockey, unfortunately he was born with no skill for the game. He holds two records in hockey; most time spent in the penalty box, and he was the only player to take off his skate and try to stab someone with it.
This is a great film, a failure at hockey becomes a success in golf, a sport he thinks is for wimps and losers. Happy meets his coach Chubbs Peterson, when he is making money from hitting the ball and betting with people at the driving range. Chubbs tells him he could be a great player with a swing like that.
Unfortunately Happy can't putt to save his life, but still he wins a entry into the Pro Golf tour. Here he gets to know his arch enemy Shooter McGavin, the man who is sure this is his year. Happy has to play golf to win his grandmothers house back, but when Shooter buys it just to get back at Happy, Happy challenges Shooter and the prize is the house, as Shooter is so sure of his skills he agrees.
Happy gets a temporary bann from the tour and goes back to see Chubbs who helps him find that happy place and putt like a pro. Unfortunately Happy kills him, but can he still beat shooter McGavin and get Grandma's house back. You will have to watch and see.
Happy brings a new following to golf, his fans and his playing style are somewhat unorthodox. It is the job of Virginia Bennet to keep him from being thrown off the tour. There may also be a love interest here too. You'll have to watch and see.
This is a fantastic comedy, which I am sure you will enjoy. Stay in that happy place and watch the game.

Advantages: Fun for all ages, a great bit of light-hearted relief. Disadvantages: No major ones at all, but why couldn't they make the film longer, or at least a sequel
