A glimpse of the movie
In the era of animation movies happy feet is as common as any other animation work yet it stands apart from the crowd! It is not just another animation flick but it is a package of entertainment that will lead you crying, rolling with laughter and bound to tap your feet to the rocking music!
Story Plot
The story is about a penguin Mumble(Mambo)who doesn't know how to sing and is considered a bad egg by the Emperor penguin society! He is madly in love with Gloria who is a melodious singer of the community! Though Mambo is born with a happy feet (awesome foot dance ability) he is outcaste by the emperor penguin's society and is considered the sole reason for the food shortage! He is forced to find the real reason with his group of small rowdy, fun loving penguins, where he is accompanied by Gloria! On this expedition he comes across a number of adventure and ultimately he meets the aliens(Humans)… The rest of the story is about what he does afterwards!
Credits WRITTEN BY: Warren Coleman , John Collee, George Miller , Judy Morris
DIRECTED BY: George Miller VOICE OVERS: Elijah Wood-- Mumble Brittany Murphy-- Gloria Nicole Kidman--Norma Jean(Mambo's mom) Carlos Alazraqui--Nestor Robin Williams--Lovelace
Opinion
Happy Feet is an awesome work of animation. Certain scenes in the movies just keep you spell-bound viz the rhythmic movements of the penguins Gloria and Mambo in the sea. The scene when all the penguins jump into the water in rows, and the dance scene where they tap their feet to the same rhythm, all these are a fabulous artistic creation of the animator. In the song "Somebody to love" the aura beams simply give an awesome light effect. The sympathetic looks in the eyes of Gloria and the love in Mambo's eyes is truly reflected through their animated characters. The movie has music at its soul! Be it the melodious song of Gloria or the feet tap music of Mumble.. Music is everywhere! And the movie teaches that music knows no bounds it can act as a medium of communication between the alien humans and the native penguins too. The flick has a social message too stored in that's to save these flightless birds! Warner Brothers have quoted the essence of the movies in the lines-"A tone-deaf, tap dancing penguin proves that by being true to yourself, you can make all the difference in the world"The movie teaches how to stand apart from the crowd and yet make yourself count! Stand up and be heard and do what you think is the best! A must watch flick for everyone that has all the traits of a block-buster entertainer!

Advantages: If you really, really, really like penguins then this is for you. Disadvantages: 2 hours watching animated penguins sing and dance against an unchanging white background.
