Peppa Pig is an animated childrens programme which is aimed at pre-schoolers and is created by Mark Baker and Neville Astley.
The programme revolves around a little girl pig called Peppa and her family - Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig and little brother George. Peppas friends and grandparents also regularly feature in episodes.

I often wonder at the fact that people celebrate their own birthdays and don't celebrate their mother on that day?
Our mothers are the ones who carried us around for 40 or so weeks and then went through (often very long and very painful) labour to give birth to us. How often do we thank our mothers on our birthday by saying "Hey mum thanks for carrying me around safely in your tummy for all that time!" and "Hey mum YOU deserve the kudos on my birthday as YOU did all of the hard work on the day, all I did was pop out (eventually) and start wailing like a baby (well I WAS a baby, so you can excuse me that one)." was Pixie65 and Cptdaniels. On my first review they told me what I can do to improve it and they both welcomed me. It was nice to meet people who care about your writing and I thought that I could never be as good as some of those bronze dots!
