OK so erm …. Why Halloween Resurrection? That may be my only question.
As you know I love my horror and Halloween is considered highly in my favourites, but to be honest I didn't like this one to much. After Halloween H2O I thought that was a great way to end the Halloween, BUT NO! And you never guess what there are plans on making more Halloweens.
After the Oh My God ending in Halloween H2O, who could of thought that yet again Michael Myers would come back for another scare.
On to the plot of the movie, arh yes my favourite Scream Queen is back. Jamie lee Curtis comes back as Laurie. (In a very sad state I must say) Laurie (Jamie Lee) has been sent to a mental institute, from the shocking of killing her brother Michael Myers. Though Laurie plays dumb to the doctors, she is still sane minded, but Laurie still thinks that Michael is still after her. Yes you guessed it, Michael is yet again on the lose and after Laurie again.
As we know Jamie Lee has only been in 4 of the Halloweens, so does she escape this time? You'll have to watch and see.
As Michael goes looking for Laurie, he can't help but to take some pit-stops on the way. (And I'm sure you can guess what for).
Mean while, as Michael is looking for Laurie, there is a reality TV show called "DangerTainment" which is run by Busta Rhymes and Tyra Banks. (And just why another rap singer Grr). They decide that on Halloween night they'll their live reality show in the Myers family Home. Dum dum dummmm
Before hand Nora Winston and Freddie Harris (Tyra and Busta) host a contest and the lucky or just plain dumb winners get to say at the Michael Myers home on Halloween night for their live TV show. So now its Halloween night the lucky winners all arrive at the Myers house, (guess what there all college students). The "DangerTainment" crew gets them set up to enter the Myers house. The House has been set up with all modern cameras so nothing is missed. As the group spilt up to wonder round the childhood home of Michael Myers they notice some very strange things but did the reality tv show hosts put them there or was it the hardcore slasher himself? The Students all start to get worried as they start to disappear. So is it Michael returned to him home to seek revenge on the people show boating his house, or is it the DangerTainment crew playing mind games? Sorry folk you're going to have to watch it to find out ….

The Scream Queen Jamie Lee being my favourite as you couldn't of guessed.
The DVD has a few special features
There's the Directors Commentary, which I think is pretty standard knower days with DVDs. Deleted and Alternate Scenes, not the best but these some okish bits. (And I always like to watch deleted scenes, but these were better off deleted). There's also and a nice Photo gallery and tour of the set on the added extras which I liked. Then we come to my favourite part we have a "On the set with Jamie Lee Curtis" where she talks about the Halloween films she has starred in, what she liked about them what she didn't like. So all in all the Special Features are quite good.
Running time of 86 minuets, widescreen format. Dual layer format, which sometime mean it may cause the dvd to have a slight pause now and then, but you carnt tell. Region 2, Pal, Certificate 15.
To really be frank in my eyes this movie let Halloween down, and I really hope they don't make no more I mean while spoil a good thing?

Advantages: Amazingly brings some new ideas to the series, quite intriguing for an hour, second best in the series Disadvantages: slasher movies are so...'80s', blood and gore seems somewhat minimal, does the world need more of these movies?
Advantages: Myers is kept in the shadows and is once again fear-inducing, great death scenes, watchable acting. Disadvantages: If you don't like Horror films, those flaws plague this movie as well.
