Halloween H20! (Twenty years later) - an excellent film -
This smart suspense thriller stars original scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis (True Lies, Halloween 1 & 11) alongside a hot cast of hip young stars! Now the headmistress of a private school, Laurie Strode (Curtis)(I think Jamie Lee Curtis has lost it a little now, esp in front of the cameras!) is still struggling with the horrifying, 20-year old memories of the manic killer Michael Myers (her brother!) when he suddenly reappears on Halloween with a vengeance! And this Halloween, his terror will strike a whole new generation! Laurie’s rebellious son (Josh Hartnett – The Faculty), his girlfriend (Michelle Williams – TV’s Dawson’s Creek) and the school security guard! (LL Cool J –Woo, B.A.P.S.) Will become Michael’s newest victims unless Laurie can conquer her greatest fears and put evil in its place once and for all! The time has come again for you to experience the frightening fun of HALLOWEEN – the motion picture series that has totally redefined terror!
The film is suitable for people aged 18years and over Theme: - Horror, stalker killer Bad Language: - Frequent, strong Sex/Nudity: - Some mild references Violence: - Frequent, strong, brutal
Other thrilling classics to add to your collection of horror videos: - The original Smash Hits “Scream” And “Scream 2” However compared to Halloween H20 I still think that the Scream films are much better! They are “Cool sexy films” “Scream is really a SCREAM!”
If you like the typical horror movie then this ones just for you, but persoanlly i think that the film on a whole is a bit to short, theres not exactaly much of an "adventure" going off. If the actors/actresses put a little bit more effort into their acting then it could be a bit better. Don't get me wrong its still a good storyline etc (I think it'd be a good film to see on the big screen at the cinema!)
“Don’t answer the phone, don’t open the door, and don’t try to escape because it won’t work….!”
The movie goes back to the basics by replacing the gore for the old shock factor. Instead of all the blood and guts, we have a movie that goes back to the style of the original Halloween where much of the horror was made from genuine jump out of your seat shocks. This is a good thing, and its back to being scared again!
Its a good idea not to watch the film alone, in the dark or in front of your little brothers/sisters as it gets them quite scared!
Still i'll let you make your own minds up about that one.....
Im still longing for directors to actually bring out a "new" style of horror film, thats not just based around eg: Halloween or mass murders.
If you get my drift all these films seem the same to me, theres got to be meaning in a film, which makes you WANT to watch it. Gets you clinging to the edge of your chair wondering whats going to happen next. I'd be happy to reply to anybody that has opinions on that subject!

Advantages: Original characters, classy, good actors, scary and suspenseful. Disadvantages: Too short, for some reason another voice is used to resemble Donald Pleasance - let's jsut say it doesn't
Advantages: Unbreakble, unstoppable super killer on a mission, a bright young cast including Dawson's Creek's Michelle Williams and an ending that surely means this is the last ever Myers movie Disadvantages: suffers from below par movies that we made before it but to be fair H20 does well. Myers eyes are also visible through the mask, I prefer it when they're 'empty black holes' but then thats just my personal opinion
