The basic plot appart from setting up and introducing characters is that the guys are living in their accomodation they have done for some time when one day they recieve a letter from the council informing them that their house is to be demolished. Seinfeld series 1&2

Advantages: The birth of a great sitcom
Disadvantages: Not the best seasons

What I am reviewing is the season 1 & 2 set of Seinfeld. This is the region 1 version but it is identical to the region 2 version. This is a four disk set. 4.3 screen Dolby digital sound Running time 437 minutes Seinfeld has been one of Americas greatest sitcoms lasting for nine seasons. This started in 1991 when a young comedian by the name of Jerry Seinfeld wanted to do more than stage performances, he decided that he wanted to branch out in TV. he contacted Larry David whom Jerry had know for years to try and get some ideas for the show. larry came up with the idea "A show about nothing" Jerry loved the idea. This did take a while to get off the ground as they tried to first market the series in 1989 but all TV companies rejected it, then in late 1990 NBC liked the idea and picked it up. Review of Seinfeld - Series 1-2 - Complete (DVD)

Big Train - Series 1 & 2

Advantages: Great comedy. Fact.
Disadvantages: Underrated...very underrated

Well then, it's been a while, so please ignore if this is a little rusty! Scouring through the DVD's and CD's in my collection, I came across Big Train, which after watching, had to be reviewed! Written by Graham Linehan and Arthur Matthews, the people who brought us Father Ted, this is an awesome sketch show, which unfortunately was often overshadowed by the likes of the Fast Show. Starring actors and actresses at the time who were relative unknowns, they have since become big names in British comedy, such as Simon Pegg, Kevin Eldon, Mark Heap, Catherine Tate and Julia Davis. The first series was produced in 1998, with a second not coming around until 2002, despite its popularity.
