.hack//SIGN #1
Review of Hack // Sign - Vol. 1 (Animated) by  Arcasa

Advantages: A great plot flows within this legendary anime
Disadvantages: The story takes a short while to get into motion

....hack//SIGN follows the story of a young wavemaster named Tsukasa lost within The World, the most successful Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) EVER created... ...But things arent anywhere near as wonderful as they would seem to any player other than Tsukasa, as he finds himself stranded in the game, unable to log out! As the story progresses over these 4 episodes, you become more and more involved and almost cry when the time comes that youll need the second volume! This shows plot and storyline puts it firmly in the realm of outstanding in my opinion, and this is only helped by the other medias the .hack project spreads itself into. Over the episodes you meet a range of new characters in The World, most are just players of the game, but others are more significant than others...... Read review

Well I like it
Review of Hack//Legend Of The Twilight - The Complete Series DVD by  LittleRena

Advantages: Cute, Kind of funny, Follows on from the past .hack// history
Disadvantages: Too short

...I loved this DVD, one of my favourite animes as well as being the anime with one of my favourite characters in. This was the first anime DVD I bought as well as the story being the first manga set a bought, since this I have followed .hack// for a while, including the games, with this story follwing on from the games and sign I belive, it really does work. The story for this is pretty good, although kind of tedious at times, it's got more diolog to it than it has action, which is one thing I personally like. The characters in this also appear in the games and some in sign I belive so anyone following from those won't be too lost with this, which is always a good thing. A major problem with this is that it is far too short, the previous anime which was sign was much longer than this. It was quite disapointing to just see two DVDs... Read review

Review of Otogi Zoshi - Vol. 1 - Legend Of The Magatama DVD by  shintai88

Advantages: Great artwork, Great fight scenes, nice colour and dubbing.
Disadvantages: Maybe not enough action, and I guess it was kinda weird

...This anime is based upon the classic novel of otogi, which is set in the Heian era in Japan, the Main character Raikoh, is infact his sister who has taken his disguise since he was suffering from a terminal illness, She and her bodyguard Tsuna an Elite Swords man, travels with her to retrieve one of the magatama's (half of the Ying Yang symbol.) which was her brothers mission. Seimei the High priest of Japan, had told the emperor about the Magatama's powers to return peace to the Capital, since the country was in the state of ruin, the capital suffering from plague and famine, while a rebellion was taking place in the north, and bandits were roaming the countryside and roads. The Features of this dvd, are 2 audio options of 5.1 Dolby digital surround sound of Original Japanese audio and English dub, along with a long menu of European... Read review
