I saw part of the series of this on TV and when I realised there was a DVD of it I had to buy it!
I'm female and some things I found could be taken in an offensive manner but to be honest I watched it with an open mind and even found myself laughing at things that ridiculed women!
There are 5 episodes on the DVD, each split into different topics as follows: 1. Is this the world we created? - The promised land - Women's lib - Sex - Dress - Estuary English
2. Stuff - The video recorder - Traffic - Street signs - Noise - Mobiles
3. A life in the day - Coffee bars - Cosmetic surgery - Food shopping - IKEA - Restaurant food
4. So who's to blame? - New man - Children - The Internet - Tony Blair - Reality TV
5. Grumpy Old Men at Christmas - Carol singers - Nativity plays - Christmas Music - The tree - Christmas Eve - Christmas Lunch - Christmas TV
No matter which episode or chapter you watch you can find something that you relate to and end up thinking ''Oh God, I'm just like that!''. Its a great moan about everything and stars Celebrities in particular which make it even better as you get an insight to their lives and what really bugs them.
It stars: Jeremy Clarkson Felix Dexter John O'Farrell Sir Bob Geldof Elliot Gould Michael Grade Tony Hawks (not the skateboarder!) Rory McGrath Richard Madeley Bill Nighy Matthew Parris John Peel Will Self John Sessions Lemn Sissay Arthur Smith Rick Stein Ken Stott Rick Wakeman
All who share their experiences and moans with the public. A great DVD for anyone!!! The only thing I have to say bad about it is there isn't enough episodes, it would have been great to see some more of certain people for example Jeremy Clarkson. However, the DVD is brilliant, it gives examples of what the grumpy old men are talking about and everything is true!
I highly recommend this DVD, I'm sure that anyone would love it as it relates to any person!
