...British Isles: A Natural History was a BBC television series in late 2004 in which Alan Titchmarsh travelled all over the UK to trace the origins of the country and find out how the landscape has changed.
As a geography student I watched the series when it was on television, while studying for my A-levels at the time. I have to say that I did not learn a lot from the series; it is rather basic and gives a very broad overview of the past 3 billion years. However, I enjoyed the series because of the beautiful shots of the UK, with stunning images of places like Ben Nevis and the peaks of the Cairngorms that would be difficult to get to see yourself. This is why I got the DVD, so that I can watch it as many times as I like, skipping to the parts that I find most interesting.

Advantages: Good plot, action scenes are realistic,as is plot. Fantastic soundtrack. Disadvantages: Not on long enough!
...The Delta Force is all about a plane getting hijacked by a group of militant arabs. The hijackers treat the planes passengers like dirt and some are left dead.
This is where the Delta Force comes in. The Delta Force are an elite group - like the SAS. It is their job to free as many of the passengers off the plane. What ensues is a series of failed attempts to storm the plane and leads the Force to Jerusalum. It is here where some of the planes male passengers have been transferred to.
Action and adventure all the way, with no expense spared on the explosive special effects.
This film has it all, action, adventure, emotion and a stark reminder of the amount of these types of hikackings that was prevelant in the 70's and 80's.
Some of the shooting scenes are a little corny in that Chuck Norris seems to doge every bullet, but then again...
