The Osterman Weekend is a 1983 thriller originally penned by Robert Ludlum, who is also the author of the Bourne saga. The film was released at a time when Cold War conspiracies were the plot for many TV series, film and book. Recent events with Aghanistan had heightened friction between the States and the USSR, and thus this film touched a very nervous point.
The Plot
This is a lesson in conspiracy gone wrong. John Tanner is the host for a TV show that regularly outs corrupt government officials. He is approached by Laurence Fassett, a CIA agent, and told that 3 of his closest friends with whom he has a reunion every year are in fact KGB operatives. He is convinced when he sees video evidence and experiences a kidnapping attempt. The CIA persuade him to go ahead with the reunion and to try and turn one or all of his friends into ...

I first smelt Burberry Weekend while I was shopping at Bluewater in the perfume shop. I didn't buy it because I was Christmas shopping and didn't have the money spare. I never forgot the smell though and later bought in on eBay.
Packaging
The packaging is quite summary. It is pale yellow with the Burberry hatching across the box in white. Burberry Weekend is written across the front of the box in white italic writing. The bottle is almost dome shaped but with a flat bottom. The glass is frosted but still see through which is useful when you want to know how much is left. The lid is silver and has the Burberry logo (the man and horse) printed on the top of the lid, and Burberry is printed around the side of the lid. The Burberry hatching runs around the outside of the bottle in white and Burberry weekend is written in white ...

Weekend At Bernies is with out a doubt one of the worlds best comedy films. Before anyone starts saying that's crazy you really have to read the review and go buy the film to see what I mean.
Weekend At Bernies is about two office workers, Larry and Richard ( Andrew McCarthy & Jonathan Silverman) who have been given the job of putting the companies accounts onto a new computer system.
