My fiance and I sat down one night and pressed play on the very first episode. I think we watched three that night and as soon as we were awake the next day it was straight back on again. For three days we ate, drank, slept and watched Grey's Anatomy. The characters are so well casted, a mixture of a old faces and some incredible new talent. The guest stars are also familiar faces but suit there roles just as well as the main cast. "McDreamy" has become an overnight heart throb and as much I would love to hate Dr Grey for getting paid to kiss him she is both intelligent and clumsy so many women can relate to her. Lucky for us that the ending shows us that no man is perfect!!!! The series follows 5 interns, Meridith, Izzy, George, Alex and Chrisina. It's there first year as real doctors and although under strict supervision you get to see how each develop from a nervous newbie into their characters. Each will have a case which defines the type of doctor they want to become. Dr. Baliey is their resident who keeps them on a tight leash and I felt one of the funnier characters. Next in charge are the attendings, so far we will see Dr. Shepard the brain surgeon and Dr. Burke the heart surgeon. Each intern has a personal story that we learn about that affects there learning, and with the relationships developing between interns and attendings has the resident on her toes. Each episode has a unique story, some humorous, some emotional but each is excellent. There are some extreme stories but the medical advisors have kept it all quite realistic. The show makes being an intern look stressful and hard work but they all seem to get the chance to play! I would have to recommend the DVD box set as waiting for a week to see the next one would be just too much and it's great value for money because you will want to watch this over and over again. The DVD's can be viewed in English, Spanish and French with a choice of 10 subtitle languages and subtitles for the hearing impaired. As well as the 22 episodes in the box sets there are extras which include interviews with characters, extra scenes and the bloopers which will have you in stitches!!

There is some useful stuff in your review, but it needs to be much more detailed to be useful as a buying aid. Your narrative is easy to read and well written, but its mostly about the show itself, with little or no info on the DVD box set. What extras are there? Also, in terms of the show itself, you mention characters in passing, but miss out a great deal. lastly, its lef for the reader to work out what the show is about from parts of your narrative, buy in reality, we shouldn't have to work that hard. Happy to re-rate if you get around to an edit. Cheers 8^)
