THE PLOT:
It begins with a typical Christmas eve in a typical small urban town
were every body nows every body. it is based on a bank clerk who is being threatened by the local busy body mis Beezly the bady of the piece we get to see a nice comical exchange between these two . And it is all normal until that is we meet his father an eccentric Inventor who has invented ...
...So things are fairly normal that is until the father goes of to a convention and decides to make up for going away during Christmas by getting a present but not any present a unique present Mogwai. That has rules and if not followed can and do backfire what happens next is a comic horror movie that will have you jumping with fright and laughing out loud Don't feed them after Midnight

The plot My opinion
It is a basic but well executed plot that most of us have grown up with the gremlins are just great and the actors all be it young at the time it was filmed where spot on the mixture of laugh out loud mayhem and some seriously scary scenes is just pure genius but why not it was Spielberg

Who take a uniqe story and make it both scary and funny at the same time the Animertronics are brilliant and the gremlins are very realistic and Gizmo is just cute and excellent film from the sc fi geniuses who brought you E.T Close Encounters Of the third kind and other screen gems

Film2 Gremlins 2 The New Batch
THE PLOT:
Billy has Grown up and taken a nice safe job at a state of the art building in the big city also moved in with his girl friend and forgotten the horror that he delt with in his home town. So it as all ended think again Gizmo suddenly arrived back on the seen and he has brought some friends with him The gremlins are back but this time its a whole new ball game the new batch has arrived

The Plot My opinion
Is very simler to the last but placing it in a sate of the art building is brilliant the laughs just keep coming in this one but sadly thats about the best thing going for this film that was just thrown together the acting is basic and the Gremlins just take over the screen this film just is not as good as the original but the Gremlins make up for it look out for some film take offs and a MUSICAL number!!!!!! watch this one once then put in watch when am mindlessly bored Oh and watch out for HULK HOGAN TOO need i say any more

The cast is the same as before and some surpriser GRANDAD MUNSTER!!!All in all the set is worth getting if you want to add both to your collection and you can pick this up for next to nothing but just get the first the 2nd is good but not brilliant
