Advantages: Erm, none? Disadvantages: Everything you could possibly imagine.
Without being entirely ignorant, there are always certain films that I anticipate seeing more than others. After the pretty dreadful Green Street, I'd be lying if I said hearing the rumours about a straight-to-dvd sequel had me, in any way, twitching in extreme anticipation.
Green Street 2 tracks the members of rival firms West Ham United and Millwall, who are now serving time in a tough prison for their fighting in the previous film.
After wasting an hour and half of my life to watch this pathetic attempt at filmmaking, I can conclude that my instincts were indeed right.
Firstly, how they can even call it a "sequel" is way beyond me, as it contains just one actor from the first film- Dave (and no, I can't remember him either). The violence is explicit, but poorly choreographed; never exciting or partly intriguing. The acting I ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Green Street 2 (DVD)
Advantages: Great movie, wonderful performances, brilliant direction and a terrific script Disadvantages: The DVD extras are almost none existant
, I don?t think there was anything about the film that I didn?t like, it is as near to perfection as you are likely to get, performances, direction and storyline are all impeccable so picking faults for me would be a little hard.
I suppose if I was pushed into picking out faults, I would say that maybe it was a little too long for some people to sit through, 181 minutes (3 hours) for a film is a little on the epic side.
Apart from that though, there is simply nothing bad I can say about this film.
~~~~~~DVD EXTRAS~~~~~~
To be frank, this is where the DVD fails miserably, I bought The Green Mile on DVD rather than VHS because I really thought that there would be a plethora of extras, how wrong I was.
Apart from the usual scene selection features and the theatrical trailer, we are given a fairly short documentary about ...
Advantages: Touching, romantic and a story of childhood Disadvantages: none
.
The scenery is breathtaking and Prince Edward Island is somewhere I have always wanted to visit after watching these DVD's over and over again. The costumes are also amazing, especially Anne's puffed sleeve ball dress that Matthew buys for her (a touching moment in the DVD's)
A DVD that you will watch over and over again and will make you fall in love with Anne. This box set includes 3 discs. Anne of Green Gables the beginning, Anne of Green Gables the sequel and Anne of Green Gables the continuing story. The DVD box set was released in January 2006, I had been waiting for it to come out for years as I still had it in the Cassette format.
In HMV they have it on sale for £49.99. ...
