Energy drink at a great price

Advantages: Cost, Taste
Disadvantages: Not available in pubs's and club's

This review is on ?Emerge Energy Drink? As I sit here and write this review I wonder how this drink can be sold for 24p which is a saving of over £1.00 if compared to its nearest rival. Now is that because it?s poor taste, nasty ingredients or something else! Well I hope to explain that to you during this review. I am not someone who often reviews food and drink products, so sorry for the layout. I am just reviewing it in the order I like to read. About Emerge Emerge is sold in the UK in most supermarkets, coming in single cans or as part of a multipack you can expect to notice this drink in its bright orange can. Emerge is manufactured and distributed from Derby in England. The company responsible for the production of this drink are Cott, on their website they claim to be one of the largest non alcohol drinks. Cott ...

Review of Emerge Energy Drink

A great juice drink.

Advantages: Tasty, good for you, nice colour
Disadvantages: expensive

a claim of any health benefit is the line, "Recent scientific research has unveiled the incredible nutritional benefits of the pomegranate and has been thus called a Superfruit... This refers to the fact that this rare exotic fruit has exceptional nutrient richness, antioxidant quality or appealing taste". It doesn't even appear to make that much sense, (is an appealing taste a health benefit)? However; H.E.A.R.T. UK does approve this product as "part of a healthy heart diet" and it would seem that Pomegreat donated 25% of their profits from 2006 to the charity. If you want to find out more about the potential health benefits try wikipedia as everywhere I looked they were using a lot of medical jargon that would have been a nightmare to explain, (or even understand)! This is a fruit juice drink made with a blend of pomegranate juice ...

Review of Pomegreat Pomegranate Juice Drink

Expect a great film - you won't be dissappointed

Advantages: A haunting black and white classic
Disadvantages: None

INTRODUCTION In 1964 I was taken with school to one of our local cinemas (now ALL the cinemas in the town have gone) to watch David Lean's classic film 'Great Expectation'. It was old, it was black and white - it was WONDERFUL!! I have seen many adaptions of the book since that day 45 years ago, but I have never seen one that compares to Lean's film or that was so true to Dickens' book. What a pairing - Dickens and Lean!! Dickens's rich characters and gothic Victorian atmosphere combined with the unique and masterful direction of David Lean led to a true cinema masterpiece that has weathered the years well. Last year I found a new DVD of the 1946 film and it is that DVD that I am about to review. BACKGROUND CHARLES DICKENS (1812-70) Charles Dickens was born in Portsmouth in 1812 and grew up ...
