good and evil, but with cutting edge special effects and action scenes galore this is a great film to watch.
The blu-ray version i watched was a 2 disc set with the second disc full of extras. There was a section on the history of transformers, and interviews with executive producers Steven Spielberg and Brian Goldner, writers Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci, and director Michael Bay. There were also features on the animation used and the way they worked out where to do scenes. You also get a look at the military equipment seen and used in the film.
This additional information is something you do not want to skip over, because it gives you a much deeper understanding of how much planning and work went into the final production. If you are into cutting edge special effects and head banging action then beg, borrow, rent, or if that fails buy ...

I personally loved this movie before I bought it on BluRay ... but I love it even more now! The colours and animation just come to life in the new vivid contrasting BluRay version.
The Movie :
The movie is a barrel of laughs from start to finish ... with a few heart touching moments thrown in. In the middle of the countryside there is a pack of rats. One in paticular .. Remy has a keen nose for food. He sneaks into a farmhouse and pinches ingredients for his own recipes... he watchs Gusteau a former top chef from paris on television with passion as the old lady of the house is sleeping in the armchair.
The with a comical turn of events in the young rats life he ends up in paris ... sneaking around Gusteau's former restaurant. He meets a friend and together they are set to take paris's food critics on a tasty journey. How will they ...
Advantages: Rhino, Blu-ray and DVD with Rhino toy, good family watch Disadvantages: Similar to other animated films

The Blu-ray makes the disc look very impressive at times especially with situations involving Bolt`s superpowers at the start of the film and the film is very well animated (as all Disney films are) and the computer effects all look very nice.
The film is quite similar to other Disney films and as with all Disney films you know it will have a happy ending and it also works well for children and adults and is great to watch as a family.
***Summary***
Overall this is an excellent Disney film and an enjoyable watch as a family. The best character is Rhino who provides all the laughs and you also get a free Rhino soft toy with the Blu-ray version as well as the standard DVD which means you can watch it wherever you are if you have 1 Blu-ray player and about 5 DVD players! Bolt is quite similar to other Disney ...

David Lean directs this definitive version of the Charles Dickens classic about an orphaned boy befriended by a mysterious benefactor who enables him to become a gentleman of means. In the gloom of a country graveyard, the young boy encounters an escaped convict, and a chance meeting years later leads the boy to mysterious adventure, wealth and joy.
