Sandy , an Australian school girl , who is on holiday in America during the summer , meets American boy Danny. They have a holiday romance ,and end it as Sandy is expected to return home to Australia. However , good news for Sandy her family decide to stay in America , which means that Sandy will attend the same school as Danny and that it won't be the end of their summer romance after all. Sandy is invited to join the 'Pink Ladies' a group of popular girls and Danny is the lead member of the popular guy group ; the T Birds.Will Sandy and Danny get together again ? Or will Danny not want to know Sandy ?
If you love musicals then you will love this. Although the storyline is not that strong , the entertainment is fantastic. One thing I like about this movie is the way the audience gets so involved with the characters ; what the character feels , the audience feels too. I like the songs too. They are catchy and each member of the cast can sing really well. I think the songs come in at the perfect moment and I like how each song fits in so well with what the character is doing at the time. My favourite girl character is Frenchie because she is so sweet and looks out for Sandy. My favourite guy character is Kenickie because I think there is something quite attractive about him! Hehe!
