guarantee any car "gone in 60 seconds") drawn back into the life to save his younger brother from an unfortunate fate. Surprisingly, the music accompanying this car-centric action film isn't the high-speed chase you might expect. Instead, it's a diverse, textured amalgam of styles from the heated polemics of Ice Cube (the explicit version of "Roll All Day" is on the soundtrack, the censored version is in the film) to the art rock of Gomez ("Machismo") and the acclaimed electronica of the Chemical Brothers. Perennial soundtrack contributor Moby delivers the previously unreleased moody trip-out "Flower", while the Cult perform songwriter-for-hire Diane Warren's "Painted on My Heart", which is essentially the AOR the band once sought all those years ago. Best are the collaborations: Groove Armada, featuring M.A.D.; handle "Rap", an ominous, layered, keyboard-based rap; and BT, featuring Soul Coughing's M. Doughty, up the beat cycle slightly for the psychedelically driving and heavily melodic "Never Gonna Come Back Down".--Rob O'Connor

Advantages: Great acting, great car chases and loads of extras Disadvantages: None barring more screen tome for Angelina Jolie.
First I will give you a idea of the plot then onto my opinion.
The movie opens with three men ( Kip, Mirror man and Freb ) in a car looking for their target.... a Porsche, they see it in a display window. Kip throws a rock into the window, gets the car key and drives into the window and escaping in the car. As they are driving away they stop at a red light and challenges the other man to a race, as soon as it's green they go driving between 80 and ... ...arresting a person when the Porsche speeds by and reports it to the department, so now they have a helicopter following them which they don't know about. When the Remark of Gone in 60 Seconds staring Nicolas Cage was release on DVD, I found that the original version was also available on DVD. DVD Description
Memphis Raines (Nicolas Cage) is a former car thief who is forced to come out of retirement when his younger brother, Kip (Giovanni Ribisi), is unable to deliver 50 expensive cars to dangerous smuggler Raymond Calitri (Christopher Eccleston). With his brother's life on the line, Memphis must enlist his old car-stealing partners for help in order to pull off the ultimate crime. His team includes his mentor, Otto (Robert Duvall), and an old flame (Angelina Jolie), plus a crew of other colorful characters. Once he gets them all together, Memphis has to do the impossible--organize the theft of 50 cars from all over Los Angeles in a single night, hampered by rivals, security systems, and the best efforts of the LAPD detective (Delroy Lindo) who is out to get him. GONE IN 60 SECONDS is a fun, action-packed movie featuring producer Jerry Bruckheimer's trademarks: a simple story, comedy, spectacular action, an excellent cast of stars and character actors, and an amazing car chase through the crowded streets of Los Angeles. This film is based on the cult classic 1974 movie of the same name, and it's a must-see for lovers of classic cars or action fans of any stripe. Dominic Sena, the director of KALIFORNIA, directed this fast-moving crime-adventure extravaganza.
