machine and rider almost invisible against the darkness of the background. Soon we are sharing the rider's-eye view at speeds you can barely believe as he blasts his way through the traffic leaving the city. Can it all be true? Is this some incredible computer game set to warp factor ten? But surely those are actual cars ahead? And those trucks coming the other way look menacingly real! Motorcycle myth, menace to motorists or master of his craft? Perhaps the 'Ghostrider' captured so comprehensively in this remarkable Scandinavian film is all three at once... Or has this guy just escaped from a high security lunatic asylum?Whatever your own view of these amazing exploits you will not fail to be riverted to the footage recorded from the bike and external cameras along his route. If it has all been set up for a Hollywood blockbuster. You would be very impressed. That this is probably the real thing is almost too scary to contemplate!Whatever the case, please heed the producer's warning and don't even think about ever riding like this yourself!

Ghost Rider 12A 110min (far too long)
I’ve took my time to write this review I was forced to sit through this film by an overexcited comic book freak friend of mine. I haven’t spoken to him since. Mark Stevens (Dare Devil) takes the helm in this OTT comic book mess of a film. The hyper Edits/cuts are quick and slick but will make you slightly dizzy and don’t make up for several poor acting performances and a useless storyline. This however is the first chapter in the inevitable franchise (cha ching!). the SFX’s are superb and Nicolas Cage’s wooden pantomime performance actually suits the role a big step away from the Superman and Batman roles he has been offered. I’m always dubious about comic book adaptation films but in the recent years some of those films have been really excellent. Here’s the jist of it Motorbike circus pikey’s Jonny Blaze (Cage) makes a deal with the devil to save his father from a life threatening illness. It all goes Pete Tong of course (like most deals with the devil!!). his father dies and Blaze is left with a promise that one day the devil will call upon him to be his Ghost Rider. Years pass and Blaze becomes a motorcycle stunt jumper man pushing himself to the limit to see if the devil is keeping his live because of the curse (he is) and eventually the plot slowly unravels. A list of souls, devil Jr and his mates, and Nick Cage of fire! So blaze has to get the list before the bad bad guys can get it and lift the curse. I didn’t know what to expect from this film and the 12a rating does restrict it from being a real action film compensated by the visuals. I can’t see the logic behind this, it might appeal to the younger audiences but I doubt it. It is humorous in places and does have potential but as a 15 rating or an 18, but unfortunately the only lasting memory is Nicolas cages Hair plugs. Some serous script revisions and some acting lessons are needed if this franchise must continue.
Advantages: Nicolas Cage and a good film altogether Disadvantages: Not that i can think of.
I thought that this was a great story line, but was shocking at places, a lot of violence thou. I liked the different characters, being a fan of Nicolas Cage I had to watch this film to compare this film to his other masterpieces e.g. face off. Nicolas Cage played, Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider, I found it great how he could play the two roles with different personalities. I also liked Raquel Alessi and I felt sorry for her character, Roxanne Simpson ...
