Franky Boyle from "Mock the week" without the leash on!.. This was recorded live from a Hackney Empire show and he doesn't pull any punches! Frankie's comedy is like a blunt instrument and so incomparably close to the mark i find it amazing he can get away with it! Too much participation with the audience would normally put me off a comedian but Frankie is so sharp and unrelenting that it feels like a guilty pleasure to hear him ripping people to pieces. I wouldn't suggest watching it with your mum or if any ladies are present but all my pals loved it! So much so that I had to hide it from my flat mate so he didn't keep watching it and screaming with laughter!
There's a great audio extra on the DVD too, where Frankie gets together with a few pals and tries the salvia herbal high!
Overall, I would say a great buy for the not so ...

A hugely funny and very absorbing film. This really does suit Jim Carreys sense of humour and comic timing. His facial expressions along are funny enough to carry this film off. The plot is a bit on the weak side, but the situations that Ace gets himself into make for a hilarious film. It really is funny from start to finnish. This is not all not only do you get the film in gloroius digital picture and sound, but there are a load of extras on the DVD that will keep you absorbed for another couple of hours.Very funny and very good value for money. ...
