Advantages: Great value for money Disadvantages: Some better material has been missed out
a coat you wear, twice a year". It's a very angry track.
5) One More Try
My second favourite George Michael track. It's a beautiful ballad and the tone is very odd. It's about giving up and the stages we go through when we love someone. When is the best time to just call it a day? Who knows but this song is trying to answer those questions. "Maybe, just one more try".
6) A Different Corner
A very unstructured ballad which seems to reflect the jarring feeling that being used by someone you thought loved you can bring. "I should go back to being lonely and confused". This was number one in 1985 and deservedly so.
7) Waltz Away Dreaming
Toby Bourke has the most fantastic, gritty, gravelly voice. It's everything George's isn't and the contrast works really well. This is almost a cover version in that Toby wrote it ...
Advantages: Great storylines, Well Acted, Entertaining Disadvantages: Not much in the extras
"In New York City's war on crime, the worst criminal offenders are pursued by the detectives of the Major Case Squad. These are their stories"
This phrase starts off every episode of Criminal Intent and so it begins.
Law & Order has been a mainstay on US television for many years due to it's solid storylines and knack of packing a great story into 45-minutes. Crime is a multi-faceted part of life and therefore many stories can be told. Based on this Law & Order spawned a spin-off in 2001 entitled Criminal Intent. The show can be seen on Channel 5 as well as Hallmark on Sky Digital. But if you've missed the show then I'd definitely recommend it on DVD.
Law & Order takes a crime, investigates it and ends up with a trial. Criminal Intent focuses purely on the crime and the minds of those behind it. The two main characters are ...
Advantages: Dinosaurs. Sam Neil and William H Macy are two of my favourite actors. Disadvantages: Annoying people escape from dinosaurs.
I’m aware of the tragic irony in writing yet another review on yet another Jurassic Park franchise movie.
I imagine this sense of d’uh-irony is akin to the one felt by whichever bored script writer coined the line “The worst possible nightmares have often started with the best possible intentions” for Sam Neil’s Alan Grant. Jurassic Park III (now with more bite) was done with the best possible intentions. Fortunately it isn’t the worst possible nightmare. In fact, that wasn’t the most ironic line in the entire movie. (See below for more)
I read a review on J-Park III which said:
“To attack a film like JPIII for being shallow, manipulative trash is like attacking a duck for quacking. The Jurassic franchise is a simple beast - it exists solely to let us watch groovy dinosaurs chow ...
