Advantages: Suitable for all ages - Great Story - Wonderful Animation Disadvantages: Not always suitable for very young children
Like many things, I came across Avatar as I'd seen it mentioned quite a bit on the internet, and decided to give it a try. I admit "give it a try" for me usually involves some way of watching it for free, but I think half of my DVD collection would never have been bought had I not first watched them by some less than fully legal means. I enjoyed it, so ended up with all 3 series (books as they are known) on DVD.
Avatar:The Legend of Aang is an American Cartoon, also known as Avatar:The Last Airbender (the change of name supposedly being down to the fact that "bender" has a different meaning in the UK to the US, the meaning having nothing to do with getting drunk), which takes a lot of influence from Japanese anime, infact the whole show has a very Asian feel to it. It is set in a world where people have power to manipulate or "bend ...
Advantages: Generally good concert, 'Old Medley' is great. Disadvantages: Bonus features could be better. Needs less pop and more prog!
Filmed in 1992, 'The Way We Walk' DVD shows concert footage from one of Genesis's later tours. By this time, all the big albums had been released - only the lesser known 'Calling All Stations' with Ray Wilson was still to come.

'Jesus He Knows Me' has got real pace and excitement, and Phil Collins really brings it to life as he comically assumes the role of a TV evangelist. The song is also rounded off with a superb guitar solo from long-time session player Daryl Stuermer.
In Turn It On Again, the final track ...
Advantages: Much better quality than VHS Disadvantages: Absolutely none
For all of my life I have been a laurel and hardy fan. I was an advocate of the "old fashioned" vhs videos and had a great collection of all of the boys films, which I treasured, but was reluctant to play in case they got damaged. This new dvd boxset has been a godsend, in being concise, hard wearing, and excellent quality, so much so in I have even started given film shows, and lending the films out, to my sons to get them into carrying on the tradition of loving these great comedy genuises. There is even a range of colourised films included, which to a die hard B+W film lover was a shocking concept, but I must admit it was great to see the boys in the digitised colour versions of all of their classic films. My advice to all the L+H fans out there is to grab a boxset while they are available and give yourselves a treat. ...
