I went to the cinema to see this quite soon after it was released, but totally forgot about putting anything about it one here. After reading a review on the film it reminded me to write my own review, so here it is.
The story follows two members of the army Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripchord (Marlon Wayans), who join the "Joes's" after they encounter some problems. They first have to prove themselves worthy of a place on the team, before they set about stopping James McCullen (Christopher Eccleston) from using his new nano-technology to destroy whatever he wishes.
My first impressions of the movie were good. You don't have to wait long before bullets start flying and things start blowing up. The first example of this has some impressive explosives and you also get a glimpse of the special effects, which were going to be on show ...
Advantages: Visuals,Concept Disadvantages: half baked love story.
G.IJoe is one film you dont want to miss.You might actually have less expectations from this film,especially after the struggle of similar films(such as Watchmen and Spirit),but you will be pleasantly surprised after watching this.
Basic plot~
A simple premise consisting of two opposite forces trying to acquire 4 warheads which can destroy complete cities when activated.A much larger picture lies underneath with the involvement of U.S. presidency and world power.It has all the makings of a blockbuster comic book film with a larger than life,futuristic concept.
Things to watch out for~
The graphics are nothing short of mindblowing and a staggering amount of money and work has been put into it.You will simply be blown away with the use of technology and graphical enhancements.The fast paced screenplay and decent performances make sure ...

G.I.JANE in my opinion is a great and gripping movie, mixed in with a whole host of emotions. You will feel anger, achievement, power and especially motovation for all you girls out there.
If I was a girl who had a bit of a rough time at work, I would want to put this movie on because it would make me feel like nothing can get in your way and give you the mental strength to deal with the problem.
I think that G.I.JANE is a real girl power movie that would make any girl who watched it, would feel strong and ready to take on the toughest challange.
I got the power, feel good and get out there and do it movie and well worth the money.
