Made by the same people who make The Simpsons, Futurama is set in the year 3000, where Fry has accidently been woken up after been frozen for 1000 years when on New Years eve in 1999, at midnight, he accidently fell into a freeze machine which would keep him frozen for 1000 years, waking up in the year 3000, Fry doesn't know what to do, he has nobody, all his family are dead, the world has changed so much, with flying cars, and Robots. But luckily, Fry makes friends with Leila a cyclopse, Bender a Robot, and his great great nephew...who is actually around 100 years old...Professor.
He becomes part of the Proffessors delivery company and falls in love with leila...sadly she doesn't feel the same way!!! He makes best friends with Bender the Robot, and his life completely changes, upon realising he cannot go back in time to his old...dull...life, he stays in New New York with his new friends.
Some fo the antics the group get upto is mad, Bender is an alcohol drinking, cigar smoking, money making theif, who is forever getting into trouble, and is always taking Fru down with him, Fry isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, and Leila is forever trying to get them all out of trouble!!!
I must admit I like the Simpsons much more than Futurama, but it is a good watch and the storylines are normally pretty funny! ;-)
