Advantages: Great animation, incredibly funny.
Disadvantages: A few naff episodes.

There's the same subtle slacker humour from Fry, slapstick craziness from Zoidberg, out and out offensiveness from bender, that's always been, and probably will continue to be the backbone of futurama. Advantages: DVD quality
Disadvantages: poor bonus material

This season is a strong follow-on from season 2 and almost all of the episodes are very funny. The plot of each episode is well thought out and many cultural references are made. My one negative view of the DVD however, is that there is little bonus material and its isn't well organised. There is no "making of" or anything similar.
