Advantages: Barbara's amazing voice, very funny! Disadvantages: The sequel not quite as good as the original
Barbara Streisand reprises her Broadway role of Fanny Brice in the 1968 Oscar Winning musical FunnyGirl. This first film follows Jewish girl Fanny Brice as she strives to become a star. Audiences come to love Fanny as she amazes them with her comic antics and her powerful singing voice. As she becomes a major success in her career, her personal life as it's ups and downs. Fanny falls in love with gambler Nick Arnstein (Omar Sharif). He romances her and they eventually marry, however this film doesn't have a romantic ending as Nick's gambling gets out of hand and he is arrested. Nick can't handle Fanny's success and the pair eventually divorce.
One of my favourite moments in the film is when Fanny sings about being beautiful and so dresses up as a pregnant lady as she doesn't feel confident enough to sing about herself in ...
Advantages: The fantastic voice of Streisand Disadvantages: only if you don't like musicals
? After we see how Fanny puts her own personality into the song.
So, Fanny's career is launched and we move on to the wonderful love story between her and Nick. We watch as the nervous love struck young girl, falls deeply in love and grows into a young woman and marries Nick.
The emotions and special moments these two share; is recreated brilliantly matched with wonderful lyrics and vocals. The film takes us through the ups and downs of their relationship and careers.
You will laugh and cry with Fanny as she takes you through her life story, well a good section of it, as later on they do a follow up with 'FunnyLady'.

Advantages: A nice, magical film Disadvantages: Definately aimed at a younger audience!
spoil it for you!

There are two Tinker fairies in Tinker Bells talent group called Bubble and Clank. They both have very over the top Scottish accents, I am from Scotland and even I had to listen extra carefully to understand what they were saying so I think it may be quite hard for some children to get everything they are saying.
I was really impressed with the animated scenery in the film, everything was lovely and green and colourful and had wonderful detail to it. I especially liked all the gold fairy glitter everywhere! Although I prefer the animation style of the old Disney films, I was drawn into how ...
