of the hit comedy, leaving audiences speculating this might be the last. Perry became seriously ill again, and returned looking more emaciated than ever. Cox regained weight, but despite finishingScream 3happily, things were already rocky with David Arquette. Much was made in the press about Aniston marrying Brad Pitt, of course, but the real news (allaying fans' fears) was NBC's expensive renewal of the cast for two years at $750,000 per episode each (more than six times their previous increase). Onscreen, at least there was Chandler and Monica's engagement lasting the whole year, despite predictable ups and downs (eg: "T.O.W. the Truth About London" revealing that Monica fancied Joey). By the time we finally get to "T.O.W. Chandler's Dad" (Kathleen Turner!), it seems inevitable that the two-part finale will be an insane mess--but with a happy-ish ending. Sure enough, "T.O.W. Chandler and Monica's Wedding" features Gary Oldman joining in the chaos as Chandler repeatedly goes missing. Other star turns in the year wereSeinfeld's Jason Alexander as a suicidal Office Manager, Susan Sarandon as soap queen bitch Jessica Lockhart, Denise Richards as one of Ross and Monica's endless number of cousins and Winona Ryder as a surprise old friend, prompting "T.O.W. Rachel's Big Kiss". But perhaps the most telling instalment of this weirdly atmospheric year was "T.O.W. They All Turn Thirty". It suggested that maybe the Friends are all getting too old to carry on living their frivolous lives the same way after all. --Paul Tonks

The episodes on this DVD are as follows: Episode 21- The one with the vows This is the one where Monica and Chandler are struggling to think of what to say for their wedding vows and is a time where they reflect on their realationship, while the others are left thinking about the changes which are ahead of them. Episode 22- The one with Chandler's dad This is the episode in which we see Chandler's dad working on a drag show in vegas when Monica and Chandler invite him to the wedding in hopes that they have not left it too late. Meanwhile Rachel convinces Ross to let her drive Monicas Porsche, but is this the right decision? This episode guest stars Kathleen Turner as Chandlers dad. Episode 23-24 - The one with monica and chandlers wedding The title is pretty much selfexplanitary. This is the one where Monica and Chandler have their wedding. However it does not look like things will run to smoothly when Chandler goes missing. While Ross searches for him it is Rachel and Pheobes job to distract an unsuspecting Monica. Also some one is hiding a big secret.
This is a good end to series 7 and as ever does not dissapoint. I have no negative points about this dvd except that you will want it to last longer as each episode is approx 22 mins.

...conclude the series. In traditional Friends style, it leaves it on a cliff hanger and to say too much would be to ruin the episode, so I will give a brief overlook of the episodes on offer on this disc.
- The One with the Vows: The happy couple struggle to write vows for eachother and as the episode looks back on the relationship, the gang look forward to their future and what may face them. Look out for funny suggestions by Joey for vows, its is ... ...the true skill of the friends writers. The banter between Ross and Rachel in the Porsche is quite funny but all of the build up in these two episodes is for the final episode that proves to be a fitting end to an excellent series.
- The One with Monica and Chandler Wedding: The union of two of the Friends characters happens in traditional comic and romantic style, with Chandler disappearing and Joey in the race back from an acting job to be the vicar, ...
