Introduction
==========

This is a sitcom that follows the lives of six friends who are in there 20's. This is the third series of Friends. This series sees Monica getting over Richard (Tom Selleck), Rachel getting a new job and the chick and the duck appear.

The Box Set
==========

Just like the first two series, this series has 3 disks and 8 episodes on each. The disks have to be turned over, as there are 4 episodes on each side, there is either a red A or B at the centre of the disk. The letters are quite small and can be difficult to locate, as the disk is silver. The A or B will refer to which episodes you want to watch.

Characters
=========

Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston)- quits her job and finds a better one, while dating Ross

Monica Geller (Courtney Cox) - at her job she meets a millionaire who gives her £30,000 dollar tip

Phoebe Buffet (Lisa Kudrow) - her ex singer partner turns up and steels one of her songs for jingle

Ross Geller (David Schimmer) - he's dating Rachel but he gets jealous of a rather handsome male colleague

Joey Tribbiani (Matt le Blanc) - buys a baby chick and turns into Lenny from Of Mice and Men

Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) - sleeps with one of Joey's seven sisters and then can't remember which one.

Episodes
========

There are 25 episodes in the third series and below are a few of my favourite ones.

The one where no-ones ready - Ross has a speech to give but no one is ready to go. Chandler hides Joey's underwear and Joey dresses in all Chandler's clothes. Monica taps into Richard's answering machine after she is confused by a message on her own machine. Ross is dared to drink fat to show how important it is that she is there. This has to be the funniest episode they have ever done.

The one with the flashback - Chandler's girlfriend Janice asks whether any of the friends as nearly slept with each other. We are then flashback to the time before this series began.

The one where Chandler can't remember which sister - Chandler is trying to get over his break up with Janice and gets very drunk at Joey's birthday party where his seven sisters are. Chandler sleeps with one of them but can't remember which one the next day.

The one with the hypnosis tape - Chandler started smoking again so Rachel gives him a hypnosis tape to help him quit, only problem is the tape is for a woman and he begins to have some female traits.

The one with the chick and the duck - Joey sees these cute chicks on TV and thinks it would be a great pet. It doesn't work out so Chandler takes the chick to the shelter but comes home with a duck as well.

Extras
======

The extras on these DVD's are no different to the ones in the first two series, which is a little disappointing.

Scene Access
Subtitles
The Renbrandts music video "I'll be there for you" featuring the Friends cast. The song has been the opening to each episode for the whole ten years this show ran.
It is also web enabled for those who want to use in their PC but I have never tried this feature.

Overview
=========

This series is brilliant because the friends' characters have progress, Rachel is not as spoilt as she was, and her new job has given her a new lease of independence. Ross becomes very insecure in his relationship with Rachel. Monica gets her dream job as a head chef, Chandler and Joey become parents for the chick and duck and Phoebe goes to meet a friend of her mother's at the beach.

I really enjoy all the friends' episodes as they have a quality about them that always seems to lighten the day no matter what has happened.

This series is rated PG and I bought it for about £20, even though I have this series on DVD you can still find me watching them on Channel 4 and E4 because these friends always make me laugh.

Thanks for reading.
