I've watched Friends regliously since it started back in 1994, and when it finished in 2004, I wondered what I would do with my Thursday evenings from then on! Thankfully I found the answer in the form of this fantastic box set. It allows me to have my regular dose of Friends aswell as keeping the DVDs clean and tidy at the same time.
Firstly I'll explain what Friends actually is.. Its an American sit-com set in New York and follows the lifes of six best friends: Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston) Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) Monica Geller-Bing (Courteney Cox)
They all live close to one another and help each other through out all what happens in their lifes, it was created by Marta Kuaffman, David Crane and Kevin Bright. It started in America in 1994 and soon came over to England, after ten years and ten series it ended in May 2004.
I must have seen every episode of Friends well over 10 times now, (some may call that a bit 'sad' but oh well!), The performance of all six actors and actresses is outstanding and every episode has me in stiches of laughter!
The Friends Complete Box Set Series 1-10 cost me £189 from HMV when it was first released, it now costs just £99 and you can get it from Virgin, HMV, Woolworth, Amazon, Ebay ect! There are 30 discs in total, all of which are of excellent quality, great sound ect. All together there are 236 episodes, each episode lasts approx. 25 mins. There a few special features including extended lenght episodes, flashback gag reels and a few features. There are subtitles in the following languages: English, French, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Icelandic. It is also available on video although you will have to buy each series seperatly as there is no complete series 1-10 box set.
