you will want to watch it again and again and again, infact me and my husband saw it at the cinema and on DVD and we have just bought the DVD.
If you had the chance to make things different today, by changing a moment in your life, would you do it? Well that is exactly what this films character John Sullivan, played by Jim Caviezel, gets the chance to do. Should he change something that happened in 1969? When he actually speaks to his Dad on a really old radio.
If I explain further, Frank Sullivan, back in 1969, is a firefighter and also an amateur radio enthusiast who passes his love of baseball to his young son John.
Now its 1999, John Sullivan is a troubled cop who finds his deceased fathers old radio, and thanks to freak storms in both 1969 and 1999, radio signals are transmitted between the two years and both Frank and John are astounded to find that they can talk on the radio across the 30-year time gap.
John finally makes up his mind and uses the opportunity to tell his father that he is going to die soon in 1969, and history is changed when his father takes note of the warning and avoids death in the warehouse fire, that previously took his life. This slight change in history has major consequences and the pair must work together across the years as a serial killer comes into both their lives.
Just when you think thats its going to turn boring, the film adds another twist or turn of events and you end up wondering where on earth its going but it does have a very convincing ending.
I must admit that I didn't think this film was ever going to be as good as it was.
My advice would be to watch or buy the DVD or video.
