A father and his son can cross through three decades using an old radio and have a conversation. If you can get past your disbelief an follow the film's central conceit, and have an eye for detail, then the films works together great giving a good storyline and good effects. The film starts in 1969, Frank Sullivan lives with his his wife and six-year old son. When he is not workign he likes to surf the air-waves of his radio. However, in October, some freaky solar activity creates unusual effects. It doesn't just light up manhatten but it does something freaky with his radio, now it has a lot stronger frequency than before which can reach 3 decades.
