It's easy to dismiss this one as simply another feel good Meg Ryan rom-com but it really is so much more. Admittedly, it's no When Harry Met Sally but the wit and charm of Kevin Kline, playing a French thief and conman, provides so much entertainment.
Meg Ryan is her usual slightly conservative and extremely neurotic self who is forced to travel to France, despite a fear of flying, in order to win back her boyfriend who has found new love in a young French model. Completely unequipped for her journey, she reluctantly accepts the help of Kevin Kline, who's pretty much the polar opposite to Meg Ryan. Kline then uses his skills as a conman to help Meg manipulate her former boyfriend and win him back in a multitude of clever and entertaining ways.
Definitely Meg's finest rom-com since When Harry Met Sally, with the possible exception of Joe vs the Volcano.
