Advantages: Very good clips of the band doing what they do best ! Disadvantages: Doesnt show all songs from Glastonbury : (
...Let me start by saying that i am a mahoosive MUSE fan and i really wanted to go to see them at glastonbury as i just knew it would be an amazing gig. So i took the less hassle option of waiting for this DVD to be released after the concert!
Muse have been around since 1996 and from then on they have wowwed audiences all around the world and have been officially labelled as "the best band live" which i would 100% agree with after seeing them perform. The band concicts of Matthew Bellamy on Vocals, Guitar and piano - Dominic Howard on drums and Chris wolstenholme on Bass and vocals and piano for the odd song too. The band play what i would call 'Progressive Rock' the band manage to create a huge amount of sound despite only have three members who are constantly trying new things in music, which is why there songs never die down...

Advantages: Muse at their best, lengthy set Disadvantages: Strange camera work
..., but lets face it, you're only going to enjoy the documentary if you're a die hard Muse fan. Several of their B sides act as a soundtrack to the visuals, and it provides a nice insight in to touring with the guys. But it's not worth the price of the DVD alone. If you're buying this, it'll be for the gig itself. In that case, you won't be disappointed.
If you're a new Muse fan and your main experience of them is through listening to Absolution, i'd recommend that you purchase the Origin of Symmetry album before this. If you like what you hear, it's worth the price. I'm not too fond of Absolution personally, yet i'm a huge fan of the older material, this DVD was perfect for me.
Also, look out for Muse's new album in May 2006. Having heard a few of the proposed songs, it sounds extremely promising....
