"what's wrong? you know it takes more energy to frown than it does to smile?" yeah, you know it takes more energy to point that out than it does to leave me alone?

Gord stil lives with his parents, he wants to be an animator so he moves to hollywood and works in a cheese sandwich factory to pay the rent. he goes to an animation studio, as security try to get rid of him he says various stupid things, "it's ok, i'm here with the bag...the bag with the eels...japan 4." he convinces dave's (the boss) assistent to give him the address of the restaurant where dave's eating lunch by saying his wife is dead and "i'm quincy from the coroners office" dave tells him to move back in with his parentsand work all day every day on his drawing which leads to the legendary "chicken sandwich" scene and various other confrontations with his dad. he eventually sells his cartoons for a million dollars with the help of a girl he met at the hospital (where he randomly delivers a baby) various people have given this movie a lot of bad reviews, these people take life too seriously and have good taste. it's a film more stupid than anything else ever made. "daddy would you like some sausages," "i'm the backwards man... i can walk backwards as fast as you can," are a few quotes from the film that never get old. although it's a basic storyline it doesn't follow a storyline in the traditional way. instead of a stable job to earn him a lot of money, Gord gets a job making cheese sandwiches and has no money until he gets a million dollars which he wastes the majority of moving his whole house to pakistan. i recommend this to anyone with a warped sense of humour or is just immature. when i bought this film it was about £12, you can now get it for £5.99, it was worth buying anyway, but at that price definately buy it, what's £6? just over an hours work, a bit more than seeing a film at the cinema but you can watch it in the comfort of your own home, but more importantly you can watch it over and over again which you will want to do.
