...This DVD is all about the Bristol Blenheim, a Fighter/Bomber that is still very welcome on the Airshow Curcuit today.
When Lord Rothermere (Owner of the Daily Mail) Said to Aircraft Manufacturers in 1935 that he wanted them to build a Twin Engine Monoplane that was equal to Aircraft being built overseas he felt it would be the best in the world.
Little did he know that Trouble was brewing in Mainland Europe and his Creation would go on to serve in all three main theatres of action in World War II.
Yet, as the Title of the DVD States, the Blenheim is the "ForgottenBomber" as virtually no-one remembers the Aircrafts contribution to the Defense of This Country.
On the Blenheims First test flight it proved itself so fast at over 300mph it left the R.A.F.s Front line fighters standing as it outran them by 50mph. Lord Rothermere...

...A fantastic DVD this one i got it from HMV after a very long wait of 3 weeks, anyway back to the product in question the Lancaster Bombersdvd, I brought this dvd for my grandad, who actively took part in the second world war. He loves it, it contains bibliographies of the pilots and detailed information on being in the Royal Airforce at the time of greatest need. With over 4 hours of screen time, it can be a bit overwhelming to watch all in one go and it helps that the program is divided into sections: history of the lancaster bombers, dogfights etc... the blitz, all are covered alongside personal insights into the effect of the war on the general public....
