Western do not get much better than this. Directed by Sergio Leone it is nothing short of a masterpiece. It has everything a western should have; confrontations, shoots outs and super cool cowboys. That is Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef. The film is part of a trilogy of westerns by Sergio Leone and all starring Clint Eastwood. The first film is ‘Fist full of Dollars’ which is a remake of ‘Yojimbo’ by Akira Kurosawa, and then ‘Few Dollars More’ being a remake (in a way) of ‘Fist full of Dollars’. The last film in the series is ‘The Good the Bad and the Ugly’.
In all honesty you probably should not watch this movie until you have seen both its predecessors and then you should most definitely see ‘The Good the Bad and the Ugly’ for the final chapter in the spaghetti western series.
PS i have put 'weak' for special effects, but thats only because i had to make a choice, bear in mind that there is no special effects in this movie.
