I decided to buy this DVD after seeing it online for a very low price and decided to buy it as I didn't have anything to lose and although the 103 minutes of great goals this DVD shows, it is not an essential for football fans.
The DVD is narrated by Sky Sports' Martin Tyler who has been commentating for many years. Straight away I was able to fammilarise myself with his voice and as I am aware of his popularity to football fanatics, it made the experience of watching this DVD that bit better.
After a brief introduction by Martin Tyler, they get straight to the goals by picking out the best goals from every premier league season, starting off from the 1992-1993 season and finishing at the 2001-2002 season. You may think that this DVD is quite old, that is exactly what I thought at the time as there are no goals shown from the last seven years of premier league football. However don't worry as you will be able to recap on the players that really brought football to what it is today. The likes of Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Micheal Owen, Eric Cantona and Zola are just some of the magnificent players that you will get to watch.
Also this DVD breaks down the best goals that supporters in the stadiums or people sat on their sofas in their living room have ever witnessed. They will show you some of the best free kicks ever scored by the likes of Thierry Henry and some of the best headed goals scored by the likes of Alan Shearer.
Towards the end of the 103 minutes they show you what they believe to be the 10 greatest premier league goals of all time. I won't give too much away, but a certain someone who scored against Wimbeldon from quite away out got the honour of being number 1.
At the end of the DVD they talk about how successful some of the premier legue teams have been and which have been the best teams int he last 10 years.
Overall, I believe that the value for money for this DVD makes it a worthwhile addition to a football fanatics DVD collection.
