Advantages: Good Acting and Interesting Characters
Disadvantages: Released in the 70's, otherwise none

Actors Ron Moody and Jack Wild play their parts very well in this memorable film. Ron Moody is truly funny and at the same time frightening with his many disguises and different characters. Jack Wild plays the compassionate and loving older brother - he loves his younger sister enough to run away to Ireland so she can be truly loved by someone: their grandmother, acted by Dorthy McGuire. They have wonderful adventures on their journey to Ireland ...
...film that will put a smile on your face and delight the children, whatever their ages. It deserves to be in the same league as those other classic British films made for family viewing at that period in British cinema history: "Oliver!", "The Railway Children", "The Amazing Mr Blunden", "Black Beauty".
