As I said in the title, I really feel envious that I was not at this concert to see this wonderful band.

The location :Boston
Number songs on DVD : 24
Bonus CD of some the concert songs 'Live'

This is one hell of a DVD music treat with the Mac playing all the favouries- sometimes with different musical arrangements, but with a definately improved vibrant twist to the arrangements, as well as 5 new songs from their new album "Say you will" (2003)

The concert starts with the formidable 'Chain' and you hold your breath because as soon as you hear Mick playing those opening beats you just know !!

The band although a little older, have incredible energy, if I was too compare, this music DVD to 'The Dance' DVD I would say that the 'The Dance' was a little slow paced and without being cliched, the loss of Christine McVie in the Boston tour is palpable, but the band have done extremely well to pull together a fantastic concert. The bands backing singers Jana Anderson and Sharon Celani, do a fantastic job in harmonising with Lindsey and Stevie in "Dreams', 'Peacekeeper', Rhiannon' and 'Gypsy'.

The DVD is two hours long and is compacted in two CD's. CD 1 introduces the wonderful 'Peacekeeper' and 'Say you will', having bought the Album on the basis of this music DVD I feel the live version of 'Peackeeper' sounds much better with Stevie's harmonies.

On to CD 2, which contains the exquiste song 'Beautiful Child' - Stevie Nicks confesses on stage that she thought she will never be able to play this song live on stage with the group, but boy !!! I am so glad they allowed her to stage it because it is an outstanding song and you could see that Stevie loved and cherished it - It is one of those songs I cannot stop playing as it's so beautiful- never will I underestimate the power of music to move people, Nicks is a master songstress.

Moving on so that I might stop my gushing!. Lindsey Buckingham's 'I'm so Afraid" was and is a masterpiece, the arrangement is incredible and better than the version played on the 'The Dance' Music DVD- here we can see Lindsey at his pinnacle and playing the guitar like a man possessed . Some may think his playing was a little over the top, but who cares, his solo guitar riff was almost orgasmic and left a chill, it also confirmed that this man is one of the BEST guitarist in the world.

Next song "Silver Springs' what can I say about this song without having to use a theasaureus to describe how BRILLIANT this song is, The music starts slowly with the opening piano notes of the master musician Brett Tuggle and then we hear Ms Nicks' ethereal velvet voice. However the mindblowing event of this song was the Nicks/Buckingham interaction towards the end of the song, the audience could see the raw passion between the two as they sang to each other. Oh my God!! What stage presence the pair have , despite Buckingham being married with 3 children you could still see the rapport the couple share - Magnificent.

Nicks's song 'Stand Back' was a surprise choice for this concert, but boy did it get the audience going, the band played it a little faster than featured on Stevie's album, which was good, but the highlight was the percussionists (Taku Hirano) solo, what a talent !!, Mick Fleetwood described this man as his 'secret weapon' for the concert and he was right - this man can play his socks off.

The surprising solo of Mick Fleetwood was a little weird. I felt that Mick wanted a spot to host his talent as a supreme drummer, but If Mick had a chance to show off, I would have loved to see John McVie do a solo as well. John McVie is a supremly gifted bass play, they is not many who can touch him in his playing - always in the background. I hope that if the Mac ever play again live they allow this man to come forth and share his talent , because he is just simply brilliant.

The last song on the DVD is Stevie Nicks' 'Goodbye Baby' a surreal ode to her former lover Lindsey, it is a fitting song to end the concert and like 'Peacekeeper', the musical arrangement for 'Goodbye Baby' sounds much better on the DVD than on the album.

In essence the concert showed the supreme talents of a incredible band- the raw energy of each member could be seen. If there is one thing I must say, and that is Ms Nicks absolutely stole the show, she has proved herself to be one formidable singer among her male band members. This was quite evident when towards end Mick Fleetwood introduced the band members to the audience- she received a roaring applause from the audience, more than Lindsey. Lesson learn't - Do not underestimate or mess with Ms Nicks

I loved the whole DVD and if Fleetwwod Mac were to tour again. I will climb hell and high water to get tickets, they know how to work the crowd,I want to be there as they are keeping it real.
