This film is not a top Hollywood blockbuster and does not win any acting awards, but if you want to watch a movie to give you and your friends a laugh while drinking a few pints, this is the movie for you. The film is intended to be a serious superhero adventure about an American footballer, Flash Gordon, save the world. Unfortunately, the props and costumes look silly and there are to many men in tight pants (that may be up your street!), but all this just gives you the laughs and enjoyment.
I love this movie because the characters look ridiculous in bright and colourful outfits, the dialogue is poor but produces funny one liners. And of course there's the excellent soundtrack from Queen. So spend the night in with a few mates and a few more beers and sit back for fun, entertainment and the best superhero ever!!!!
