Advantages: Great characterization, Fantastic story, Very well acted
Disadvantages: Story may seem a little simple

I found this film nothing short of brilliant, mainly due to the amazing characterization given to each individual member of the cast. The story is fairly easy to get, detailing the life of a 'jack the lad' character, Robert Dupea, who you later find out has an unexpected background. Throughout Dupea's story is a combination of weird and wonderful people who create great moments of drama. Though all actors/actresses demonstrate brilliant characterization, ...
...uses incredible gestures to create a very wild and wacky person in Robert Dupea, with this relaxed/charming side always lingering. My favorite part, although quite simple, has to be his growling and impersonating a dog in the middle of a traffic jam. There isn't anything I particularly disliked about the film, although I did cringe sometimes at Dupea's girlfriends witlessness.
