ABOUT FILM:
This is another story about King Arthur and Guinevere and Lancelot. Although it does not stick to all the historical King Arthur facts, it is OK at best.
This is very much a Love Story with the usual ending for Arthur, who loses out for everything. There are a number of good medieval fight scenes but overall the film is not particularly good. It is very much a film where nothing really happens, but Lancelot and Guinevere end up together at the end, with Arthur dying.
Sean Connery plays King Arthur, Richard Gere Lancelot and Julia Ormond Guinevere. Sean Connery plays his role OK, but Richard Gere is not exactly inspiring.
VERDICT:
I would not recommend this film, it is hardly a classic and is not really that good at all.
