This is an animated DVD that is aimed at giving very young children an introduction to the French language. It is an enjoyable way of teaching, and parents can sit and relax with their children whilst watching. They can learn about families, daily routine, as well as a few extra topics that are brought in such as animals. Children are likely to find it fun and ask to watch again and again, which will allow them to absorb French words and phrases naturally, without even trying. Three is said to be the optimum age for language learning, and this DVD would give children a wonderful start towards more formal language study at a later stage in their education. I have used it successfully in a nursery setting, and would recommend it for home use as well.
