Advantages: Erm, none? Disadvantages: Everything you could possibly imagine.
Without being entirely ignorant, there are always certain films that I anticipate seeing more than others. After the pretty dreadful Green Street, I'd be lying if I said hearing the rumours about a straight-to-dvd sequel had me, in any way, twitching in extreme anticipation.
Green Street 2 tracks the members of rival firms West Ham United and Millwall, who are now serving time in a tough prison for their fighting in the previous film.
After wasting an hour and half of my life to watch this pathetic attempt at filmmaking, I can conclude that my instincts were indeed right.
Firstly, how they can even call it a "sequel" is way beyond me, as it contains just one actor from the first film- Dave (and no, I can't remember him either). The violence is explicit, but poorly choreographed; never exciting or partly intriguing. The acting I ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Green Street 2 (DVD)
Advantages: Hilarious comedy, good viewing Disadvantages: only 3 episodes, expensive to buy whole set individually
Another installement to my DVD collection - the epic and classic comedy hero - Mr Bean. I love Rowan Atkinson, especially in Black Adder and also in the classic Mr Bean episodes. Despite my mood before hand, after watching Mr Bean I always feel much better, he always manages to intrigue my imagination with his biazarre mannerisms and abilty to turn the most straight forward of tasks into complete disaters!
Having not being able to buy the whollebox set I have had to purchase and review each DVD volume one by one.
This DVD contains 3 episodes, each with 3 or 4 sketches in them. All of whihc are brilliant and this DVD includes one of my favourites - the one where he goes to the swimming pool and clings to the diving board. The three episodes are entitled: Episode 1. 'The Curse Of Mr Bean', Episode 2. 'Mr Bean Goes To Town ...

DVD Description
Charlie McGhee (Marguerite Moreau) has grown into a beautiful young woman. She still does not have control over her ability to channel her emotions into flame, though. She also is not free from a corporate goon squad who seek the girl who they have given these powers to. She is again joined by Rainbird (played this time by Malcolm McDowell) in her attempts to control her rage, and henceforth her power to set anything in her path aflame. Also joining them are others who have similar freakish powers also bestowed upon them by the scientific experiments of an evil corporation. This sequel to the 1984 film based on Stephen King's novel follows a sexy Charlie through a four hour mini series that was originally shown on the Sci-Fi Channel. Loaded with pyrotechnics, flashbacks, and a new group of afflicted children, REKINDLED has as much in common with CARRIE and X-MEN than the original film starring Drew Barrymore.
