Fireman Sam is every child's hero next door and as the parent of a little boy who is crazy about anything to do with Fireman he is a firm favourite in our house. The Fun Run DVD has been watched over and over again and still manages to entertain the children yet it isn't one of those DVD's that annoys parents and personally I can sit and watch it quite happily with him. Pontypandy is a very close community and everyone looks out for one another. Each episode has an underlying moral but it is done in such a light-hearted way that it enhances the fun rather than making the viewing too serious. Another gem from the Fireman Sam range of DVDs. Pontypandy's finest fire fighters are fit for action all the time in this great collection of stories. There is great humour and it appeals to children and adults alike. It is my favourite children's show- pure quality. It is very well written and the characters are very believable and fun.
